Holly Hunter is an American actor and producer who is well-known for her highly laudable performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with several awards for her work which includes an Oscar. Her career in acting started in Broadway through a myriad of Broadway and Off Broadway productions. The actress is a lover of acting from the time she started school. The first time she appeared in a production in fifth grade was in Helen Keller. Mumps made her lose her hearing in one of her ear canals, but that did not stop her from following her dreams. She studied drama at college after which she moved from Pittsburgh and moved to New York City to follow her goals. Hunter had her Broadway debut following an accidental encounter with Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart. The first time she appeared in a film was following her move in Los Angeles. Over the past three decades, since her time in Los Angeles Holly Hunter has been in many films, TV shows and movies. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and was awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
